TAIST-Tokyo Tech Scholarships for Students of ICTES Program
(code: TAIST)

Objective:
  The goal of this program is to prepare students with a comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software technologies in ICTES, with in-depth knowledge of embedded systems in VLSI designs and embedded software development, as well as broad knowledge of their applications in communications, networking, signal processing, human interface, artificial intelligence, etc. Students will also experience the actual development of embedded systems using the state-of-the-art CAD tools for both hardware (VLSI) and software in “Embedded Systems Design Exercise Class”. Here, students will work in teams to also learn about project management, product planning and marketing aspects of the embedded systems development. M. Eng. Program in ICTES welcomes full-time students as well as part-time students from the industry, both of which will greatly benefit from the unique learning environment which this program is designed to provide.   • 15 scholarships for prospective both Thai and International students in each academic year
  • These scholarships are continuing scholarships for 2-year curriculum (master's degree: Information and Communication Technology for Embedded System (ICTES))
Provisions of Scholarships:
 
  • Coverage of full tuition and education fees without thesis support. TAIST-Tokyo Tech may supports for a thesis support on a basis of further requirements of master thesis/research.
  • None of living allowance and accommodation
  • None of health and accident insurance
  • None of coverage of an airfare
Candidates' Degree Sought:
 
  • Master's degree (2-year curriculum) at SIIT
Candidates' Qualifications:
 
  • Be a Thai or International citizenship
  • Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate programs admission

  • Strong academic background and recommendations
  • Have a good health and good conduct
  • Must not be a recipient of other types of scholarships
Conditions to Continue the Scholarships:
 
  1. Maintaining the cumulative GPA of not less than 3.00
  2. Making good progress in the master thesis in each semester until graduation
  3. Following the conditions in the "SIIT Scholarship Agreement"
