(ประเภททุนต่อเนื่อง 4 ปี :คัดเลือกผู้รับทุนรายใหม่ จากนักศึกษาใหม่ที่มีคะแนนรับเข้าศึกษาดีเด่น)
1) Objective:
The SIIT 4-Year Continuing Scholarships program aims to encourage the admission of academic excellence students and also to encourage scholarship recipients to make satisfactory academic progress towards the completion of their degree.
2) Amount of Scholarships:
2.1
Full Scholarships: 100% Waiving of SIIT tuition fees
A scholarship covers the SIIT educational support and tuition fees (for student ID.65xx onwards: Tuition fees [flat payment]), excluding TU fees in each regular semester.
2.2
Half Scholarships: 50% Waiving of SIIT tuition fees
2.3
Quarter Scholarships: 25% Waiving of SIIT tuition fees
In principle, scholarships will be granted to students in the first and second semesters of each academic year. Scholarships are not available in the summer semester except for courses according to the curriculum. The scholarship recipients have to contact SA&AR Division to request for scholarship support in the summer semester. For students ID.65xx onwards, please check more details about "W" grade in the scholarship agreement.

Anyway, the re
cipients will be granted SIIT educational support and tuition fees under the maximum amount (quota) according to SIIT study plan in every semester, including summer term.  A course enrollment in any course out of the curriculum can be done with the conditions that the enrollment fees must be paid by the Scholarship Recipient and also no “F” or “U” grades result in a transcript.
3) Scholarships Payment:
Recipients will be granted scholarships by crediting the SIIT accounts of the students as registration fees and/or tuition fees (reg.siit.tu.ac.th).
4) Applicant's Qualifications:
4.1
Have been admitted as regular SIIT undergraduate students
4.2
Have good behavior and a clean record with no offences against student disciplines
4.3
Have not been granted other SIIT Continuing Scholarships and GAC Scholarships
5) Application Submission:
  Application submission is not required.
6) Recipient Qualifying Procedure:
Different types of 4-Year Continuing Scholarships will be offered to new SIIT undergraduate students based on students' outstanding admission scores.
7) Conditions to Maintain Granted Scholarships:
7.1
Recipients must register to be SIIT regular undergraduate students.
7.2
Recipients must make satisfactory academic progress toward completion of their degree.
7.3
In principle, recipients will be continuously granted scholarships for 8 regular semesters if recipients can maintain their GPA. The recipients must continuously enroll the courses at SIIT and complete all the degree requirements within 5 academic years. The suspension from study in any semesters is not allowed for the scholarship recipient. In case of scholarship termination, the scholarship recipients must pay the fees caused by their suspension. For attending the student exchange program, scholarship recipients must contact to SIIT Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Division in advance.
7.4
Recipients who are first-year students shall nonetheless be granted the scholarships continually for a minimum period of one academic year even though the cumulative GPA achieved in the first semester appears to be less than 2.50 with no "F" and "U" grades, otherwise the scholarships will be terminated.

Recipients who are 2nd-4th year students must maintain the cumulative GPA not less than 2.50 in every semester and not less than 2.75 in two consecutive semesters including the summer semester if students register to study (even with no scholarship support in the summer semester), otherwise the scholarships will be terminated.
7.5
In principle, scholarship recipients must not get an "F" (or a "U", if applicable) grade in any course. An "F" or "U"grade will result in discontinuance of scholarships in the following semester. If the recipients get an "F" or "U" grade, the recipients must reimburse the regular registration fee for the course to which the "F" or "U" grade relates.
7.6
Recipients must be responsible for expenses incurred from any courses other than those determined by the Institute to be taken under the official curriculum.
7.7
If the recipients withdraw a course, the fee must be paid by the recipients except any course withdrawal caused by the Institute. The recipients must submit an official request for approval of course withdrawal to the Institute. The approval must be done within 2 weeks from the date of class beginning for the first and second semesters and within 1 week from the date of class beginning for the summer semester. The maximum of two “W” grades throughout the curriculum in a transcript are allowed without scholarship termination under the conditions that the recipients are required to pay the full amount of tuition fee for the withdrawn subject and the re-enrollment tuition fee for the course with “W” grade before enrolling in the next semester. For students ID.65xx onwards, please check more details about "W" grade in the scholarship agreement.
7.8

Recipients' resignation or otherwise cessation from study at SIIT prior to graduation, other than being announced by the doctor or court of physically or mentally incapable for continuing his/her study, or incompetence, or quasi-incompetence, of fatal sickness, or death, shall be regarded as the recipient's breach of the scholarships in an amount two times the aggregate amount previously received from SIIT. In such case, the reimbursement to SIIT shall be made by the recipients within 60 days from the day the recipients cease to be students.

If the recipients fail to make payment to the Institute within such time limit, the Institute may charge interest at a rate of 15 percent per annum from the expiration of the aforesaid time limit.

7.9
In the event of the recipients' commission of such misconduct as to be punished for grave breach of the students' discipline, the Institute is entitled to annul the scholarship forthwith. In such case, the recipients shall be regarded as committing a breach of the scholarship agreement and shall, as a consequence thereof, make reimbursement to the Institute in accordance with the rules and rates hitherto set out in Clause 7.8 above.
7.10
Recipients shall have an obligation to assist the Institute for not less than 24 hours per semester for a full scholarship, 12 hours per semester for a half scholarship and 6 hours per semester for a quarter scholarship.
