Organize an Activity


:: SIIT Club Proposal


If SIIT students would like to set up the new club or continue the present clubs in the next academic year, the club proposal must be submitted in advance to SIIT Student Affaris and Alumni Relations Division (Rangsit Campus) before 15th February of each year.

Activity Proposal:


- In case of an activity in the club's annual plan, student must discuss the detail of activity with the culb advisor. The "Activity Proposal" is required to be submitted to SIIT Student Affairs Division in advance at least 1 week before the first day of activity.

- In case of the new entry activity (out of club's annual plan), student must discuss the detail of activity with the club advisor and Student Affairs Division for the feasibility and additional/adjustable budget support.If this additional activity is accepted, the "Activity Proposal" is required to be submitted to SIIT Student Affairs Division in advance at least 1 week before the first day of activity.

Due to the scale of activity, the "Activity Proposal" should be submitted to SIIT Student Affairs Division at the earliest within:

2 weeks or one month before the frist day of activity is recommended for the medium or large scale activity.

Budget Support:


- Borrowing cash from SIIT (5,000 Baht per activity)
- Borrowing money more than 5,000 Baht from SIIT (cheque)
- Sponsor from Individual/Company

Students can perform the activity without borrowing cash/cheque from SIIT. Then, the club's treaturer must clear the bills with SIIT Student Affairs Division after the last day of activity. The 'Reimbursement to Student" form is required.

- Clearing the cash borrowing within 3 days

Request to Use the Room/Venue and Equipment:

- SIIT classroom-LCD projector-sound system,
contact Mr. Sumrit (Bangkadi) and
Mr. Peerasak (Rangsit), SIIT Academic Services Division

- SIIT stage-common area-soccer field,
contact G&P Division (Rangsit or Bangkadi)

- SIIT sports equipment,
contact "SIIT Sport Club" via Student Affaris Division

- TU sports field & equipment, contact Gym.7 (ศูนย์บริการการกีฬา มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รั้งสิต) or Interzone, case-by-case

- Students can stay at SIIT/TU not later than 18:00 hr. without the Request to Stay Late Form.

- Stay Late at SIIT Form can allow students to stay during 18:00-23:00 hrs.

- Students cannot stay later than 23:00 hr. at SIIT/TU.

4.1 Perform the Activity: (Do)

- After the well preparation, we expect the activity will be performed as well as in the plan.

- Strictly record the participants' signature and take the activity photos.

4.2 Evaluate the Activity Performance: (Check)
- Do the "Activity Evaluation Form" (Template: A) which will be evaluated by the participants.
- Do the "Activity Evaluation Form" (Template: B) which will be evaluated by the organizing team.

Clear the bills & Performance Report:

- Within 1 week after the last day of activity, the club treaturer must contact SIIT Student Affairs Division to clear the bills and submit the "Performance Report" of activity.

Submit the photos & news item:

- Submit the activity photos to SIIT Student Affairs Division (CD-disk, .jpg format with high resolution)

- Submit a news item for publication in the SIIT News. The news item must be checked by SIIT English Training Unit (ETU) and edited before the submission.

Other related Documents:

- If students are obligated to be absent from class in order to participate in the activity, such as being the SIIT representative on the competition, the Request Form for Absent from Class is required in advance.

- The request for absence from class may be approved or disapproved by the lecturer.

Student must contact in person to the lecturer in advance.



:: Activity by a Student Group


- The additional activity by a SIIT student group may be approved due to the detail of activity: such as the objective of activity and the remaining of budget support in each academic year. :: Activity by TU or Others

- SIIT students are welcome to join in the activities organized by Thammasat University (TU). Student's participation as the organizing team member or participant can be recorded into the "SIIT Activity Transcript System". The activity certificate, photos and/or letter to certify the activity from TU are required.
